LKCS intends to grow their web service offerings and offer clients online chat services. Their solution will feature customize chat buttons, windows, and much more. As more and more consumers are conducting their personal business electronically, the fact remains that many users still want to communicate with a live human being, and we can help make that happen.
Century Federal Credit Union is the latest LKCS client to launch a new website. The new site features applications and technology to help it better stand out on the web. The primary goal of the project was to improve the organization, functionality and branding of the existing web site. In addition, the client wanted to overhaul their youth program and incorporate social media.
LKCS will play host to a campaign endorsement announcement for Adam Kinzinger. Kinzinger is running for U.S. Congress and will be holding a press conference on June 2, 2012 at LKCS. LKCS improves its email hosting services. Changes include improvements made to security as well as the overall expansion of its capabilities. We would like to announce improvements to our email hosting plan, which offer improved security and expanded capabilities. As part of this change, LKCS is offering “Internet Message Access Protocol” or IMAP mail hosting in addition to POP format.
The Dudek family recently created a graphic arts scholarship at Illinois Valley Community College with a $25,000 donation to the IVCC Foundation. Beginning next fall, the Norbert J. Dudek Scholarship for Graphic Arts will provide a $1,000 scholarship each year to a second-year graphic design technology student. Financial need and the student’s artistic ability will be considered in the selection.
LKCS recently completed an external audit of information security and data integrity controls and has earned SAS70 Type II certification, and is now SAS70 Type II certified. The SAS70 Type II Certification has become the gold standard for financial institutions and other firms in evaluating outsourced data solutions.
LKCS continues to test and improve the overall effectiveness of its network security. The company hires 3rd party security firm for semi-annual vulnerability testing. As part of our ongoing attention to security, LKCS recently completed a semi-annual external vulnerability assessment. For these assessments, LKCS hires a 3rd party information security firm to identify any potential threats.
