The 27th Annual Communicator Awards has recognized LKCS for distinction in web design under the General-Banking/Bill Paying Category. Chosen as winners were the websites designed for Alliance Community Bank (Petersburg, IL), Hoyne Savings Bank (Chicago, IL), and Security Savings Bank (Monmouth, IL).

The Communicator Awards is dedicated to recognizing excellence, effectiveness, and innovation across all areas of communication. They are the leading international awards program honoring talent in this highly competitive field.

Alliance Community Bank first opened its doors in 1910 in Athens, Illinois and continues to thrive there today. Additional branches across Illinois have been added since then for a total of five locations. They serve local businesses and agricultural operations as well as offering personal banking.

Vice President of Administration, Lindsy McAnally had this to say about the web design project, “LKCS made our website redesign project smooth and easy! I really liked that we were able to customize the site to meet our needs. When something needed tweaking, they were quick to make the changes. The entire process was really great!”

Hoyne Savings Bank is a Chicagoland bank with a history dating back to 1887. They have seven branch locations and is one of the area’s oldest and safest savings institutions. They promote home ownership throughout Chicagoland neighborhoods and communities.

Security Savings Bank is an Illinois bank with two locations in Monmouth and Stronghurst, Illinois. They serve their local community and specialize in agricultural banking solutions ideal for area farmers. At the cornerstone of the bank’s mission is customer relations and community involvement. Their website is an extension of that mission with a goal to providing a user-friendly experience.

LKCS earned all three awards with designer Karen Riva leading each project. “My main design objective is to listen to the client and present them with a responsive website design that encapsulates the goals for their new site. I put a lot of thought into each detail to make sure it is aesthetically pleasing, provides a positive user experience, conforms to ADA guidelines, incorporates industry progression with interactive elements and increases website conversion.
