LKCS’ Client Wins ‘Best Website’ at NAFCU’s 2014 Marketing Awards

The National Association of Federal Credit Unions has awarded Winston-Salem Federal Credit Union with having the best website of the year. Their website was recently designed by LKCS.


Top 5 AwardThe National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) has named the winners of its 2014 Marketing Awards, which recognizes the most creative and successful promotions and marketing materials of the credit union community. Nominations are accepted within eight different award categories. Each award category consists of two asset size categories: Credit unions with assets of $250M or less and credit unions with assets of more than $250M.

Winston-Salem Federal Credit Union won best website for credit unions with assets of $250 Million or less.

“Credit unions continue to develop innovative ways to achieve bottom-line success,” said NAFCU Vice President of Marketing Alicia Hosmer. “This year’s winning credit unions have set a new bar for excellence with their creative and results-driven campaigns. We congratulate them for all of their hard work and success.”

The award recognizes Winston-Salem’s use of a custom and clean design, integration of custom applications, and the excellent interaction and usability of this website. In addition, the site was built using Sitefinity’s CMS and includes two of LKCS’ custom site management tools – a banner ad manager and a rates control manager.

Winners of NAFCU’s 2014 Marketing Awards will be recognized by their peers, by their members and by credit union leaders across the country. This recognition ceremony will take place during NAFCU’s Strategic Growth Conference, March 4-6, 2014 in Venice Beach, California.
