The 15th Annual Hermes Creative Awards has recognized LKCS for distinction in web design under the Electronic Media / Social Media / Interactive Media / Website Overall Categories. Chosen as winners were the websites redesigned for Soundview Credit Union (Bethel, CT) and Landmark Credit Union (Danville, IL).
The Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world. Winners range in size from individuals to media conglomerates, and Fortune 500 companies.
Soundview Credit Union is an east coast financial institution with branches in Connecticut and Massachusetts. They have been serving their local communities and nearly fifty select employer groups since 1980. LKCS utilized Soundview’s existing color scheme throughout the design, but introduced new elements, textures, and typography to give it a unique style.
Landmark Credit Union is a full-service financial institution based out of Danville, Illinois. Since 1935, they have been providing financial services locally. Today they serve over 10,800 members.
“The L-shaped logo was the basis for the wedge shape used throughout the design and imagery. It defines a recognizable brand look for the credit union, while acting as a guide for users as they scroll down and focus on different sections of content,” said web designer Chris Guadiana who created this design.
Soundview and Landmark were previous web clients of LKCS, so in addition to winning these awards, they were honored to be selected to redesign their sites and continue the business relationship.
“We are honored to win these awards,” says Karl Ribas, Director of Digital Services at LKCS. “We pride ourselves in our ability to provide custom design and marketing solutions that meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. We are excited to share these awards with our clients! Our Digital Services team continues to grow and impress with the results of their teamwork.”
LKCS’ award-winning web department has earned nearly 60 design awards. With experienced designers and programmers on-staff, they have the ability to craft websites of all sizes and complexities. LKCS works with businesses in many industries but has primary expertise in working with financial institutions.
